Beyond simply planning and coordinating numerous weddings, having previously operated an outdoor venue on our own property, we have a rare and invaluable 360-degree perspective. This hands-on experience encompasses every logistical detail, from organising every aspect of the venue itself to navigating the unexpected challenges that inevitably arise.
We adore bringing to life beautiful weddings and we'll be by your side every moment you need us on the big day; ensuring a magical experience, ensuring everything looks amazing, and ensuring that you have everything you need. But our expertise goes far beyond that.
While many planners have experience with marquee weddings, few possess the in-depth understanding of the intricacies involved in outdoor events at blank canvas locations that we do – from refilling toilet units, to calculating power draw and distribution, heavy vehicle access requirements and solutions for navigating unpredictable weather (you'll need more than just umbrellas on a rainy wedding day in a field). We anticipate potential challenges and are prepared for every eventuality with a calm and resourceful approach.
Our reputation for meticulous planning and on-the-ground execution precedes us. We don't just bring a sewing kit, a stain pen and scissors to your wedding, but a small armory including outdoor lights, extension reels, tools, ladders and more. Meet Hannah
Business owner, head planner, and lover of beautiful, unique, laid-back and fun weddings


Hello.
I still pinch myself every time a couple chooses us to help create wedding magic. For the past 8 years, I've had the privilege of planning, hosting, and managing unforgettable weddings in stunning locations. I've also transformed blank canvas spaces into some of Bedfordshire's most sought-after outdoor wedding venues.
Before embarking on this journey, I enjoyed a successful career in marketing, technology, and communications, culminating in a board-level role at a global company. While this brought professional success, it just didn't excite me. It did, however, instill in me invaluable business skills and a strong work ethic that I apply to everything we do at Fields & Festoons, ensuring professionalism is at the core of the services we provide.
But it's not all serious business! I'm a true romantic who loves love, and always gets butterflies on the drive to a marquee build. I thrive on connecting with people and my magic ingredients are warmth, passion and humour. I want to get to know all about you and understand your unique wedding dreams so I can make them happen - and ideally make them even better than you had imagined! I'll guide you with motivation, momentum, and meticulous organisation, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable planning process.
When I'm not immersed in wedding planning, you'll find me enjoying the outdoors (preferably in the sunshine!), trying to keep the plants in my garden alive, or socialising there with a glass of rosé. I'm unashamedly obsessed with Italy and go at least once a year. Closer to home I love exploring the hills and coast with my partner in his Land Rover Defender and having small adventures with my nephews.

Meet our other wedding planning queens

Rebecca
Part of the team since 2022, Rebecca is our planning wing-woman, floral queen, and coordinator extraordinaire. She brings a keen eye for detail, boundless warmth, and a passion for creating stunning floral displays.
Rebecca works closely with Hannah to support our couples throughout their planning journey. She's often onsite overseeing site builds and setups, and takes the lead coordinating many of our Event Management bookings.
As a professional florist, having Rebecca in our team offers the ability to seamlessly integrate planning and floral design. When couples choose our combined planning and floral services, Rebecca conducts consultations, curates stunning designs, and directs our talented team of florists to create exquisite installations, breathtaking bouquets, and floral perfection.
Gemma
A fundamental part of our extended team for over 6 years, Gemma of The White Emporium brings her award-winning design expertise to our weddings. Gemma styled our very first venue photoshoot back in 2018, and since then, she has been an invaluable collaborator on the majority of our full and partial planning weddings.
From directing overall design and styling to providing stunning and unique pieces from her extensive hire collection, Gemma's influence is evident throughout. With an extraordinary eye for detail, she'll meticulously perfect the placement of every table setting element, and you'll often find her scaling ladders to install breathtaking installations, such as dramatic draping or sparkling disco balls, within the eaves of your marquee.

The history of f&f.
In 2015, business owner Hannah bought an 18th century farmhouse with 2.5 acres of stunning landscaped gardens, orchard and meadows. The property was crying out to be used as the backdrop for beautiful events. After some friends held their wedding at the property the venue was launched, and within 5 months became fully booked for the next 2 years.
Hannah's corporate executive career furnished her with extensive experience in project management, sales, service excellence, and supplier relationship management – honed expertise and translatable skills that aided her in setting up the business and meticulously planning and producing complex events. Coupled with her warm and confident nature, her enthusiasm and drive, and her fine attention to detail, both the venue business and the weddings themselves were flawlessly delivered with exceptional success. The venue received broad praise from wedding industry experts and quickly won awards.
Living at and operating a wedding venue for several years provided Hannah with valuable intrinsic insight into the components of planning and executing weddings in an outdoor space. This encompassed dealing with all styles and sizes of structures, all logistical, maintenance, and technical aspects, all weather conditions, service excellence front and back of house, and the important considerations of hosting events in residential settings and private surrounds.
In 2020 Hannah chose to sell the property, and focus on creating exceptional outdoor weddings at other locations. Since then she has created, launched and managed two more highly successful outdoor wedding venues, and planned & managed countless weddings at private properties and blank canvas venues.
